Re: Our experience in the floating market
We are supposed to go to the floating market but because it's too far away and we don't have enough time, we just explore the shopping malls and stall markets. I would definitely visit the floating market next time!

Re: Geography of Thailand
Thailand's neighboring country is Cambodia. You can reach Cambodia by train from Thailand but sadly we don't have much time to explore that is why we didn't even get a train trip to Cambodia.

Re: Cheapest and safest mode of transport
We used taxi because I felt it's not safe to ride a tuk-tuk especially if you are not a local, other than that we used to walk because you can explore your surroundings.

It's necessary to learn at least simple words that are being used often everyday like for example Good morning, Good evening, Hi, Thank you & Welcome.

Re: Personal safety in Thailand
In every place there are good and bad people just like the rest of the countries all over the world. Best thing to do is keep yourself safe by reading all the do and don'ts on every country and by having someone to travel with you if you are in a country that you are not familiar with.

Good thing to know that my country is a member of the ASEAN so we are not required to obtain a visa to enter Thailand. It's a great opportunity for us but not all of us has a privilege to travel

I haven't visited the temples when I went to Thailand because all temples are under renovation during that time. I wish I could visit the temples when I visit next time.

Re: Is tap water safe to drink in Thailand?
I had been to Thailand but I never tried to drink their tap water. I'm drinking bottled water there so I haven't encountered any stomach discomfort. For your safety use bottled water instead.

Thanks for that information. I had been to Thailand but I only tried drinking a green macopa juice in the hotel. I would like to try the Nom Yen, it looks delicious.

Re: Street market is a haven for shoppers
I love shopping in Thailand. Although, unlike you that your hotel is just infront of the market, I need to walk a few kilometers away to go to the nearest malls and market.
