Re: Personal safety in Thailand

This is one of the reasons why I plan on getting a weapon to protect myself. There are crazy people all over the world and little justice came be done at times if you can't properly defend yourself. It really is a shame so much crime happens in the world and usually the criminal gets away with it or...

Re: Keeping myself safe

My suggestion is try not to go out so late all by yourself and so far away from home. Try not drinking too much and make sure if someone buys you a drink, you keep your eyes on it and don't give them the chance to put anything in it. Also, I would consider buying either a taser or some mace, possibl...

Re: Dealing with difficult bosses

I really haven't experienced something like that, but my advice is too simply confront your boss about the issue for more clear instructions. If that is too difficult then I suggest asking one of your coworkers for help. If that doesn't work, maybe talk to the higher ups.

Re: Who is to be blamed?

I would have to say both, It is a teacher's job to aid their student the best way they can and give all the help needed, however that is only at school. It is the parent's job to properly discipline their child and make sure they are doing what they are supposed to. A teacher can only accomplish so ...

Re: Peer Pressure

Peer pressure isn't always bad, though. I mean, let's not be too politically correct here. ;) For instance, are people in the wrong to correct someone who obviously a punk? Are people in the wrong for giving constructive criticism involving something like being lazy or refusing to bathe? Good point...

Re: I'm on a diet, Sooo.. What's for dinner?

Wow, looks like an interesting dish. I'm really not that much into seafood however, but when it comes to healthy dishes I suppose the white potatoes and steamed cabbages would be my go to vegetables. That and green beans.

Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is never an easy thing to deal with. We all had or still are dealing with the issue whether it be from friends and family or strangers. I however thought of a few tips to help confront the issue. 1.Ask yourself if it is worth it. Is what you are being forced to do worth the stress or t...

Re: Rainy day? Don't worry!

Nice tips, usually on a rainy day I either chill out in my room or just take a nap. Never really would of considered any of these options, when it rains I like to stay in doors, both warm and in a bit of solitude.
